As you already know, Wednesday May 11th is “Austin Don’t Rush” day. To reduce traffic congestion, we’re asking Austinites to find alternatives to their typical rush-hour commute. Worried about the extra cost of taking the bus to work? As an added incentive, rides on all CapMetro buses and trains will be free on May 11th!
“We’re simply asking people to avoid rush hour. Take a train, a bus, or a bike. Talk to your boss about changing your hours to avoid rush hour. You have a lot of options, and this time we have a lot of support.” said Steve Adler.
